OUR 3Rs SYSTEM -

REUSE REFILL RECYCLE

ECO FRIENDLY WITH OUR

REUSE REFILL & RECYCLE PROGRAM

Join us and do your bit for the environment and our planet. Our 3Rs (REFILL, REUSE, RECYCLE) program helps us do away with plastic. We reuse, refill & recycle everything at every opportunity.

Our products come in glass and aluminium containers. These can be reused over and over again without any threat to the environment. When you place your order, we include a return box with your package. Once you have up to 4 containers, rinse them out and just pop them in the box and return back to us. We wash, sterilize, and sanitise the containers ready to be reused. Make it more cost effective by adding a refill product to your order, this way you'll never run out. You can also refill at our No Waste Locations and Pop Up Events.

Our containers are also easily recycled. However we encourage you to reuse them for your products, or upcycle them to what you fancy.  The idea is not to throw anything away.

REFILLING AT OUR REFILL LOCATIONS

We currently have two refill locations in South London; The Elegance Salon at 294 Brixton Rd. SW9 , and Upmarket Pop Up Shop at Brick Lane E1. We are looking to increase our refill locations as our business grows. Once you run out of your product, you can simply pop into your nearest refill station, drop your containers, pay for your refill and return back at the appointed time to collect your products. Ensure you wash out and dry your containers thoroughly before coming to refill.

STEP 1

"The Best Way To Clean Your Bottles!"

GlassGlow Glass Bottles & GlowGro Aluminium Bottles

Once all the product has been used up, fill your bottle halfway with lukewarm water, replace the pump and give it a good shake. We suggest dancing whilst shaking..('Twerking' is optional). Empty out the water and repeat this process a few times. Ensure all product residue is completely gone during the final shaking.

Fill it halfway again with lukewarm water, replace the pump. Now pump out the water till it's empty. Repeat this process a few times until you can see the water running clear.

Glass Jars & Aluminium Jars

Once all the product has been used up, fill your jar halfway with lukewarm water, replace the lid and give it a good shake. (You can also use a clean soft sponge to wash out the container) Continue with the twerking/dancing. Empty out the water and repeat this process a few times. (Don't forget the twerking) Ensure all product residue is completely gone during the final shaking.

Fill it halfway again with lukewarm water, replace the pump. Now pump out the water till it's empty. Repeat this process a few times until you can see the water running clear.

MesmerEyes Eye Gel Container

This one is a bit more technical. You'll need to remove open the pump section by prying open the silver section. Once you remove that, unscrew the bottom refill bit from the pump section. Then proceed to wash out the refill container and the pump section in  the same way as washing the glass bottles.

TOGETHER WE CAN TACKLE WASTAGE & PLASTIC NUISANCE

Alexander Parkes introduced plastic to the world back in 1862. Almost a century later, in the 1950s, plastic product manufacturing within the retail industry kicked off and has not stopped since.

Did you know that plastic was designed to last forever? All the plastic that has ever been created is still lurking around somewhere on earth. It's hard to fathom it right? Sure you can recycle it and blah, blah blah, but it never really goes away. Only 5-10% of plastic is reclaimed for recycling. Even when it is recycled, most plastic still eventually ends up in a landfill or in our lakes and oceans. Its so bad that in just a few decades, there might be more plastic in the world’s oceans than fish. Yikes!! Even biodegradable plastic which is environmentally friendlier, as it eventually degrades has is downsides.  It's a very lengthy process, and the particles still get consumed by marine life.

The choice to not have single use plastic in any of our products was non negotiable from the get go. We chose to use Aluminium & Glass which you can refill unlimited times.

Plastic is the number one public enemy, with almost half a million tonnes of it produced every year and 91% of it doesn’t get recycled. We have a collective responsibility to tackle this global crisis by making small changes in our daily habits.
